OLG Wins Multiple Awards at Cannes Lions Festival

Most recently, the Ontario Lottery and gaming company announced that it has won several awards at this year’s Cannes International Creative Festival. This is thanks to the Lotto Max Dream Drop campaign launched with the help of local clothing brand Mr. Saturday. 릴게임 The Crown won two silver lions and two bronze lions for this successful scheme.

The Can Lion International Festival of Creativity is an annual event that brings together creative leaders from all over the world. At this prestigious event, participants exchange ideas, learn from each other, create networking, finally celebrate the most innovative ideas, and present awards in various categories.

Earlier this year, OLG and Toronto-based fashion brand Mr. Saturday jointly hosted a promotion named Lotto Max Dream Drop. The project itself was a limited edition streetwear collection, with each garment item accompanied by a bonus code for a one-year long subscription to Lotto Max tickets. And its purpose was to attract a young population through the provision of lottery tickets.

Lotto Max Dream Drop was an instant hit and within days of its release, it attracted the attention of many Ontarioians. Some works were sold out in minutes, OLG said. Crown said the collaboration significantly exceeded campaign targets, including new registrations and ticket sales.

At the awards ceremony, the campaign was nominated for a total of nine honors and won four of them. The winners are Silver Lion in the Creative Commerce category for customer acquisition and retention, Silver Lion in the Direct Ambient Media category, Silver Lion in the Design and Brand Experience and Activation category.

For the launch of the campaign, OLG also joined forces with mediacom, Hill + Nolton strategy, brutal, communal good, and grayson music. The other concept behind the proposal was to encourage equity, diversity, and inclusion. All proceeds from the campaign went to Black HXOUSE, an organization that empowers individuals in BIPOC. This was OLG’s second appearance at the Cannes Lions Creative Festival and its first win.

OLG’s more recent activities include a new contract with Major League Baseball. This is a multi-year partnership that makes OLG’s PROLINE Sports Book the league’s official sports betting partner in Ontario. It is also the first sports betting partnership for MLB in the province.

Under the deal, OLG and PROLINE will receive exclusive distribution rights for the league’s official logo as well as cross-promotion across MLB digital and social channels. The partnership will also enable the introduction of free online games to be released for baseball fans during the MLB season.
