Suwon’s trump card for promotion, recruiting Romanian FW Maila

Suwon Samsung Bluewings has successfully strengthened its offense by recruiting Romanian striker Sebastian Mailat.

Mailat is a wing forward who can play on both the left and right sides, and his strengths are his speed and scoring ability. He has played in 193 professional games in the Romanian 1st Division, scoring 39 goals and 14 assists.

He said, “I am honored to join Suwon Samsung, the most prestigious club in Korea. I feel a greater sense of responsibility because I know that Suwon is where many Romanian players, including Pavel Badea, Ion Lutz, and Cosmin Oleroiu (Oli), have performed well. Everyone welcomes me warmly, and the training facilities are so good that I think I will be able to quickly adapt to the team. I know that promotion is the top priority this season. I will do my best to achieve that goal.”

Mailat has completed his medical test and joined the team training, and his jersey number has been set at 70.
