LPGA WRAPS UP EUROPEAN SCHEDULE IN NORTHERN IRELAND WITH LEE, HONG, AND OTHERS IN ACTION

The U.S. Women’s Professional Golf (LPGA) Tour will conclude its month-long European schedule in Northern Ireland, England. The LPGA Tour will host the ISPS Handa World Invitational ($1.5 million purse) at Galgorm Castle Golf Club (par-72, 6,527 yards) and Castle Rock Golf Club (par-73, 6,231 yards) in Antrim, Northern Ireland, beginning Sept. 17.It will be the fourth event in Europe after the Evian Championship, a major in France, from July 27-30.The Freddie Group Scottish Women’s Open was held in Scotland from March 3-6, and the AIG Women’s Open, the final major of the season, was held in England last week. Next week, the CPKC Women’s Open will take place across the Atlantic in Vancouver, Canada. It is also the last tournament for European players to earn points towards the 2024 Solheim Cup. The European team will consist of the top two players in the Solheim Cup points standings, the top six players in the world rankings and four players nominated by European Team Manager Susanne Pettersen (NOR).
