PYEONGCHANG MEMORIAL FOUNDATION HOSTS ‘PARA ICE HOCKEY ACADEMY’ FOR YOUTH

The 2018 PyeongChang Memorial Foundation held a two-day PlayWinter Para Ice Hockey Academy event at the Gangneung Hockey Center in Gangneung, Gangwon Province, on November 11 to raise awareness of disability and learn about the values of the Olympic and Paralympic Games for more than 50 Korean and Japanese youth. “Students from the Seoul Japanese School and youth living in the Gangneung area spent a meaningful time experiencing Para Ice Hockey,” the foundation said.

Para ice hockey coach Han Min-soo, a bronze medalist at the 2018 Pyeong Chang Winter Paralympic Games, personally coached the students.
