Suwon tried to make up for the deficit with a last-minute offense, but could not find the back of the net and suffered a two-goal deficit .At the DGB Daegu Bank Park, leaders Ulsan Hyundai played out a goalless draw against Daegu FC, who were struck by ‘goalpost misfortune’ .While Ulsan (57 points) remained unbeaten at the top of the table with six wins and three draws in their last nine matches, Daegu (34 points) failed to secure a win in four matches (three draws and one loss) but moved up one place to sixth with a point. Ulsan squandered an early opportunity in the 36th minute when Martin Adam’s header from a corner kick was headed into the right corner of Daegu’s goal but was denied by a super save from goalkeeper Oh Seung-hoon (202 games), who celebrated his 200th K League appearance earlier in the day .In the fifth minute of the second half, Uhm Won-sang’s shot from the right side of the penalty area beat the goalkeeper and Martin Adam rushed in to score, but the goal was overturned after video assistant referee (VAR) showed that Uhm Won-sang had fouled the ball earlier. Daegu, who fought back, wasted a crucial scoring chance in the 25th minute when Vaselus beat the keeper with a powerful right-footed shot from the right side of the goal area that hit the top of the crossbar. Ulsan had to settle for a draw in stoppage time when 토토 Lee Chung-yong’s left-footed shot following a nice dribble at the front of the penalty area was saved by Daegu goalkeeper Oh Seung-hoon, who was out of position.
