Lincoln prepares for third high-flying flight with Korean Air “Four consecutive consolidated wins!”

Lincoln returns for his third season in the V-League with Korean Air.

In his first season in a Korean Air uniform in 2021-2022, Lincoln Williams (real name Lincoln) won the championship and was named MVP of the 토토 Championship Finals. In his second season, 2022-2023, he was part of the team’s trek to win the overall title for the third consecutive season.

As the seasons went on, he became more and more integrated into Korean Air. In her first year, she ranked fourth in attack (54.03%) and sixth in digs (0.38 per set), while in her second year, in 2022-2023, she ranked first in attack (55.09%) and second in digs (0.58 per set).

Once again, Lincoln is in her third offseason with Korean Air. “I’m having fun,” she said at Korean Air’s practice gym in Shingal, Yongin. We’ve lost a lot of players to the national team, but we have a new player in Mark Espejo, and we’ve been very busy training in Japan and playing overseas teams. But it’s been a fun preparation,” he said.

The team also learned a lot during the busy offseason. “When we played the Tokyo Great Bears, I noticed that Korean Air has a similar style of volleyball to Korean Air, especially their libero Koga, and I was impressed with how efficiently they played,” Lincoln said. “We didn’t play much in Japan, so I felt like we played differently against the Panasonic Panthers in terms of defense and blocking. I think it can be a growth point for us if we accept the lessons learned.”

Lincoln spent the offseason rehabbing his knee as it was not in perfect condition. He didn’t play in the previous training camp in Japan before making his debut in the final game against the Panasonic Panthers.

He seemed to be feeling better. On the 27th, he started and played until the end in a scrimmage against the Finnish National Men’s Volleyball Team.

“My knee is at a point where I can play,” Lincoln said. But now I need to find my game feeling quickly. I’m trying to find it, and I’m working hard in training,” he said of his condition.

This is my third season in the V-League, so I’ve gotten used to it. But he wanted to be consistent, yet different. “There’s definitely something new I want to show,” Lincoln said. But it’s a secret. You’ll have to wait until the season,” he laughed.

Korean Air’s goal this season is to win the “everyone knows it” title for the fourth consecutive season. Lincoln is ready to fly high, too. “I don’t have any personal goals. The team’s goals are aligned with mine. I just want to be able to help the team and work hard to help them achieve their goals. Every time I go into a game, I will always prepare well and perform well.
