Suwon Samsung, led by head coach Yeom Ki-hoon, lost 0-1 at home against Bucheon FC in the Hana Bank K League 2 2024 at the Suwon World Cup Stadium on Nov. 18. Suwon (6W1D5L) suffered its third straight defeat, joining Seongnam FC and Cheonan City FC. The loss dropped Suwon to third place.

The game was tied 0-0 in the fifth minute of the second half. Suwon’s Baek Dong-gyu was sent off for a rough tackle. Outnumbered, Suwon surrendered the lead in the 31st minute of the second half. Yang Hyung-mo scored an own goal from a corner kick. A desperate Suwon responded with a maul in the 37th minute. However, there was not enough time to change the game. Suwon bowed their heads with the score at 0-1.

At the same time, 스포츠토토 Jeonnam Dragons came from behind to beat Seoul Eland 2-1 at Mokdong Sports Complex. Ikoba opened the scoring in the 17th minute of the second half. Jeonnam scored back-to-back goals from Kim Jong-min in the 37th minute and Montano in the 47th minute to secure the 2-1 victory. Jeonnam (20 points) jumped up to second place with their third straight win.

Meanwhile, the earlier match between Ansan Greeners and Chungbuk Cheongju ended in a 0-0 draw.
