‘Shin Yoo-bin-Jeon-hee break’ as Korea Women’s National Team defeats Cuba 3-0 to complete group sweep

After securing a spot in the Round of 16, the Korean women’s table tennis team won their final match against Cuba to finish the group stage with a four-game sweep.

The Korea Women’s Table Tennis Team (No. 5) won their fourth match against Cuba (No. 43) in Group 5 of the BNK Busan Bank 2024 Busan World Table Tennis Championships with a match score of 3-0 (3-0, 3-0, 3-0) at BEXCO Busan on Monday.

After securing a spot in the Round of 16 with a win over Puerto Rico (No. 9) the day before, the Women’s National Team also swept Cuba to complete a four-match sweep of the group stage.
