Gangwon FC’s owner congratulates the team on their second straight win and first away win.
Gangwon FC defeated Jeonbuk Hyundai 3-2 away from home in the sixth round of the Hana Bank K League 1 2024 at Jeonju World Cup Stadium at 2 p.m. on Sunday. With their second consecutive win, Gangwon sits in fifth place in the league with nine points (W2 D3 L1). Lee Sang-heon‘s performance was dazzling. Lee exploded onto the scoresheet in a multi-goal outburst. He opened the scoring with a penalty kick in the 41st minute and calmly finished off a counterattack chance in the 28th minute to complete his multi-goal performance. He now has seven goals in six games this season. He is now two goals clear of second place.
